This notice supplements the SLK Lawyers Privacy Policy and describes the additional personal information collected when you use the SLKSeal document signing platform. The firm's Privacy Policy governs all collection, use, disclosure, storage, access rights, complaints, and data breach procedures. Terms defined in the firm's Privacy Policy have the same meaning here.
To verify the authenticity and integrity of document transactions and to detect and prevent fraud, we automatically collect technical information when you access, view, sign, or decline a document. This includes:

Collection of this information is reasonably necessary for our functions and activities as a legal technology provider. Where documents are sent to you on behalf of a client, collection is also necessary for the legitimate interests of that client in verifying the authenticity of signed documents.
Technical fingerprint and interaction data is available only to the account holder who sent you the document and to authorised staff of SLK Lawyers. It is not included in audit trail documents shared with other signatories. Disclosure to third parties is governed by clause 6 of the firm's Privacy Policy.
Technical fingerprint and interaction data is retained for as long as the associated document records are retained, in accordance with clause 9 of the firm's Privacy Policy and applicable legal and professional retention obligations.
Your rights in relation to this information, including access, correction, and complaints, are set out in clauses 10 and 13 of the firm's Privacy Policy. Note that we may decline requests that would compromise the integrity of the audit trail or interfere with fraud prevention obligations.
